Core Temp seems like the best way to get detailed processor info. I have a script that downloads Desktop Info, Core Temp, and installs it, but I cannot for the life of me get the script to run Core Temp as the logged on user without the UAC prompt. It obviously needs elevated privileges - I can get it to run as a local admin or shell-user, but Desktop Info doesn't see it running in the background of the local console... is there any way to do this without disabling UAC?
